Clematis Tricolour plants will climb up walls and fences to cover up any unsightly areas you spot. These colourful garden plants often produce showy flowers that are full of vibrant, eye-catching shades. The period of interest usually comes between July and September, maintaining strong colour throughout the growing season. Bright, indirect light and moist, well-drained, humus-rich, fertile soil is preferred. The plant should be watered well, although more regularly in the growing season. Pruning should also take place in late Winter.

Water the plants regularly, especially during dry spells, and ensure the soil remains consistently moist but not waterlogged. Mulching around the base of the plants helps retain moisture and suppress weed growth. Prune the Clematis vines according to their specific pruning requirements, which can vary depending on the cultivar. Regular pruning helps maintain a tidy appearance and encourages healthy growth and abundant flowering.
