130 Litre Heavy Duty Garden Compost Tumbler

This heavy duty tumbling composter is an easy and efficient way to create garden compost. Ideal for turning kitchen scraps & organic garden waste into beautiful, rich compost, this compost tumbler has a horizontal rotating drum which makes it easy to turn when full. Coming flat packed, it does require home assembly. It is manufactured from heavy duty plastic and features a push-button lid locking mechanism. The tumbler should be turned regularly, for example every 2-3 days, depending on the outdoor temperature. Compost tumblers are especially effective at composting grass clippings – great for the summer months when there is a lot being produced. The temperature inside the tumbler is raised as the casing is black – absorbing heat – again, speeding up the composting process. There’s even a filter tube that allows any excess liquid being built up to be drained away – remember, your compost should be moist, not soggy.
